I am happy to announce that I will be Assistant Professor of Percussion at the University of Northern Colorado!! I will greatly miss my friends, colleagues, and students at UTPB, but I am so excited for this new chapter in my life. Go Bears!!!!

I'm extremely excited to announce that I will be moving to Odessa, Texas to become Director of Percussion Studies at the University of Texas Permian Basin! In addition, I will also be teaching at Odessa College! I will greatly miss the faculty and students at UT Tyler and at Trinity Valley Community College, but I am so grateful for the opportunities on the horizon with this new adventure. Falcons Up!!

A little late with this post, but I am excited about the release of the Ryan Anthony album Re:Mission - Rubato! I was in the percussion section for the piece "Renaissance of Wonder," which was performed by Jerry Junkin and members of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and featured Ryan on solo trumpet. In addition to my teaching duties at UT Tyler, I am excited to also be joining the faculty at Trinity Valley Community College! I will be teaching Applied Percussion Lessons and teaching Percussion Ensemble/Sectionals. I am very grateful for this opportunity and to also continue to be an educator and advocate for percussion in this area of Texas!
I am very excited to announce that I have joined the faculty at the University of Texas at Tyler! At UT Tyler, I will serve as an Adjunct Lecturer of Percussion and teach Applied Lessons in Percussion, Percussion Ensemble, and Percussion Methods. I will miss my colleagues and students at the University of Utah, but I am excited to be back in the DFW area and to continue the next chapter of my life!
The year of 2019 is off to a great start! In addition to a number of judging gigs coming up, I also will be giving a faculty recital in March, which will include a premiere of a new solo multi-percussion work by my talented friend Corey Robinson. Recently, I received word that I will be giving a presentation on "Practice Strategies for Multi-Percussion Solos" at the National Conference on Percussion Pedagogy in May at Texas Tech in Lubbock; I am very grateful to the NCPP for this wonderful opportunity!
I am very happy and excited to announce that I have joined the faculty at the University of Utah! At the U, I will be assisting with the instruction Pride of Utah Drumline, as well as teach applied lessons. I am very grateful to Mike Sammons for this wonderful new opportunity, and I look to this new chapter in my life with much enthusiasm. Go Utes!
